About the tea: GABA Ruby Oolong is a unique Taiwanese tea created for those who seek not only flavor but also a distinct effect. 🧠 The tea leaves for this oolong are harvested at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. The key feature of this tea is its high content of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is formed during a special oxygen-free fermentation process. It is this GABA that makes the tea special: it helps relieve tension and provides mental clarity. ✨

Flavor associations: When warmed, the tea's aroma reveals powerful and noble notes of juniper, floral nectar, and red berries. šŸ“ The taste is clean and smooth, without pronounced acidity. It reveals its character perfectly in a thermos and when mixed with other teas, for example, with Pu-Erh.

Caffeine/Theanine: This oolong has a moderate caffeine content, but its main effect is achieved through GABA and L-theanine. šŸ§˜ā™€ļø It induces a state of meditative calm and focus without causing drowsiness.

Health benefits: GABA tea is known for its positive effects on the nervous system. It helps to reduce stress, improve concentration, and memory. 🧠 Regular consumption can normalize blood pressure, improve sleep, and even alleviate symptoms of alcohol intoxication. 😌 Additionally, it contributes to body detoxification and strengthening the immune system.

History of the tea:

Ā

The technology for producing GABA tea was developed in the 1980s in Japan. Japanese scientists discovered that processing tea leaves in an anaerobic (oxygen-free) environment significantly increases the content of gamma-aminobutyric acid. šŸ‡ÆšŸ‡µ Later, this technology spread to Taiwan, where it was adapted for the production of high-quality oolongs. The name "Ruby" reflects the deep, reddish-amber color of the infusion, which resembles a precious stone.
